Order fulfillment and shipping has never been so easy

When it comes to fulfilling your orders to American Outlets, you have two fulfillment options to choose from. Each has benefits that are unique to different merchants, depending on preference for receiving and fulfilling orders.

It all begins with onboarding. During the American Outlets onboarding process, we assign you a unique merchant address that is similar to a seller ID. You will use this merchant address when fulfilling all orders to American Outlets in the US. Your merchant address is very important!

American Outlets has 2 fulfillment options for merchants like you to choose from — Individual or Bulk.

Fulfillment Option #1 — Individual

Fulfilling your American Outlets Orders via Individual fulfillment allows you to get real-time orders throughout the day and ship them to our facility in the US one, two, three or more packages at a time. It’s like shipping to anyone else using your normal carrier. Here’s how Individual fulfillment works exactly:

  • An order is made by American Outlets customers on our marketplace
  • We provide the order to you in real-time to fulfill
  • You receive the order number that is matched to your fulfillment address and an optional label that you can place on the order package
  • You fulfill the order and ship to American Outlets
  • You provide us with the order tracking number for that individual order
  • We receive the order, checking it in to American Outlets’ system using the order number and/or tracking number you provided
  • We ship the order to the customer and take care of everything else from there

With the individual fulfillment option, you can also ship multiple orders to American Outlets to save on shipping costs. Here’s how this works:

  • A number of orders are made by American Outlets customers on our marketplace
  • We provide the orders individually to you in real-time to fulfill
  • You receive multiple order numbers throughout the day matching your fulfillment address and optional labels you can place on the order package
  • Instead of fulfilling each order individually, you want to save on shipping costs, so you wait for a few orders to come in for that day and then fulfill them
  • You send the orders in one package to American Outlets under the same tracking number
  • We receive the package containing multiple orders in it and check them in individually
  • using the tracking number you provided
  • We ship the orders to each individual customer and take care of everything else from there

Fulfillment Option #2 — Bulk

We have the experience and customer base to make selling easy

Choosing American Outlets bulk shipping can be cost effective for brands, retailers, and resellers that need need to fulfill a lot of American Outlets orders daily. Bulk fulfillment is also a great way to save on shipping costs. The only downside is that orders are not provided throughout the day in real-time like the individual fulfillment option. Instead, you are provided with one bulk order daily. Here’s how bulk fulfillment with American Outlets works:

  • Multiple orders are made by American Outlets customers on our marketplace
  • We compile all orders throughout the day and them to you in bulk ONCE daily and get optional labels to place on order packages
  • You fulfill all the orders and ship to American Outlets in one bulk shipment
  • You provide us with the tracking number of the shipment
  • We receive the shipment containing all the orders and check them in individually
  • using the tracking number you provided, and the order numbers we have in our system
  • We then ship all orders  to each individual customer and take care of everything else from there

Fulfilling individual or bulk orders and shipping is really that simple. We set up our fulfillment options like this on purpose. No more lengthy manifests or manual entry, and you ONLY ship to our Florida fulfillment center.

Most frequent questions and answers

A tracking number is needed for any option. If you ship out 10 orders with one tracking number, you need to submit the same tracking number for each order in that shipment. Based on the tracking numbers we are able to receive the orders and collect the items and fulfill customers.

We receive packages, scan the tracking number, and the system lets us know what’s inside based on the tracking number designated to an order.

We then collect them and sort them according to the customers full order. Customers often purchase products from multiple sellers, and fulfilling the order in its entirety is needed.
